AVRA is governed by an elected board of directors, 10 community volunteers (five from the Trails and five from the Condos).

The Board meets monthly and has six standing sub-committees.

The board also establishes ad hoc committees for specific purposes—as it recently did to address bylaw modifications and the sale of the Trailway Circle lots.
